Kitchen Cabinets in Cottage Grove. Refinished from common light oak to painted enamel. Pieces removed and done off-site, minimizing the amount of time not having access to the kitchen. Used latex sanding primer for the first time because homeowners wanted to avoid all toxic smells and fumes. Which presented it’s own set of challenges, mainly with sanding. Ended up doing 2 prime coats and 2 enamel coats on the faces. Grain lines removed from the flats and edges, and barely visible on the curved panel detailing. Drilled out holes for the new handles on the uppers. Replaced all the nobs. New bump stops on all the pieces including drawers.
