Reference from a neighbor I did work for they wanted to modernize the look of their home and what better colors to do that with than Red, White, and Blue. Little to no scraping needed but applied a full coat of bonding primer to make at last, and look much better. Added trim color to all the trim boards around the house, including ones not originally accented. Also replaced a rotting board I found while working.
